The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the much-awaited interview schedule for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025. This announcement follows the declaration of the UPSC Mains results on November 11, 2025, and marks the final stage for candidates who have qualified.
Schedule Details
The Personality Tests (Interviews) are scheduled to be held from Monday, December 8, 2025, to Friday, December 19, 2025. The first published list contains the roll numbers and timings for 649 shortlisted candidates.
Important Instructions
Candidates must report at 9:00 AM for the forenoon session and 1:00 PM for the afternoon session. The Commission has clearly stated that no requests for changes in the interview date or time will be entertained. The e-Summon Letters will be made available shortly on the official websites.
Procedure for Candidates
Eligible candidates can download their interview schedule by visiting the official portal, upsc.gov.in. They need to click on the link for “Civil Services 2025 Interview Schedule,” find their roll number in the PDF, and note their allotted date and session. A printed copy of the summon letter must be carried to the interview venue for entry and verification.

UPSC has informed that the interviews for the remaining candidates will be scheduled in subsequent phases, with dates to be announced later. Furthermore, eligible candidates appearing for the interview will be entitled to travel reimbursement, limited to Second/Sleeper class train fare for Mail/Express trains.
